The annual QSFC will once again be held in conjunction with St. George Bank BIFF. This year QSFC will award three major prizes:
- The Kinetone Award for Best Short Film - cash prize $2 500
- Audience Favourite Award - cash prize $2 500
- Chauvel Award for best new project pitch and short film - prize awarded is a $15 000 development investment from Screen Queensland

PUBLIC SCREENING PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED FOR THE 24TH WARNER ROADSHOW STUDIOS QUEENSLAND NEW FILMMAKERS AWARDS
A selection of this year's best entries will be showcased at Tribal Theatre on Saturday 31 July.
Pull up a beanbag and enjoy an engaging and diverse collection of short films from Queensland's brightest new talent! Each film is introduced personally by the filmmaker.
Session 1 - 1.00pm / Session 2 - 3.30pm
All tickets are $8 on the door.

St.George Bank Brisbane International Film Festival will be presented from 4 - 14 November 2010
Entries for BIFF film submissions will open in mid-April. Information will be available here, please check back.
While still part of the festival, TransLink Cine Sparks and the Warner Roadshow Studios Queensland New Filmmakers Awards will be presented from 28 July - 6 August as stand-alone events focusing on young and emerging filmmakers.
St.George Bank BIFF in the Burbs will bring a taste of BIFF to Brisbane suburbs acting as an appetiser to the main course in November.
